Captain's Practice

Designed for high school freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors wanting to have a successful high school season. The MN Foot Tech Captain's Practice Program prepares players for the rigor of pre-season training, and equips the player with the tools needed to meet the expectations of their high school coaches.
During the week the players follow the core camp training program, working on the technical skills needed to perform at the next level. The Captain's Practice then adds to this a very demanding fitness program, and more advanced training, including team training in an 11 a side environment.
This camp covers topics such as building out of the back, playing through the midfield, and different types of attacking formations. The goalkeepers learn advanced training exercises to further enhance their technical ability as well as placing them with the other field players to work on team aspects from the goal. Players are shown strategies such as organizing the defense properly and how to initiate the attack with fast and accurate distribution. Both sides will also cover attacking and defensive set plays.
The MN Foot Tech Captain's Practice Program is only offered for players who will be playing high school soccer. This program is designed to take the player to the next level and it's very intense. It is a demanding program that shows the player what they can expect in High School pre-season training.
Dickie Vilme was named High School Coach of the year 2009.
